Hello from Western Mass

Hi everyone. I signed up here because I had a lighting question but I'm sure I'll have many others. I've been keeping aquariums for most of my life (34 years) but always freshwater. My aunt owned an LFS and exotic bird shop when I was growing up so I had lots of experience with both fresh and salt there but that was many years ago. I actually have been tankless for the last 2 years besides a betta due to a move. I sold my 90 gallon to my brother and just left me 55 and 30 torn down.
I've had the bug ever since to get back into it and petsmart (don't judge me) had and amazing deal on a 65 with stand that fit perfectly into my house so I went ahead and got it. I was almost going to do fresh again but decided it was now or never if I was going to do a reef. I ended up having to modify the stand (remove shelf) to fit my sump and skimmer under it but I think it will be worth it.
My current set up is as follows

Aquarium Masters 36" 10k LED light with moon light.
65 pounds of live rock
3.5 inch sand bed
Hoping to add a fish in a few weeks and corals in 4-5 months once I'm certain everything is stable.
