Fish Old Age - Banded Goby

Hello All,

I have a banded goby in my 92 gallon tank.
Water is good.
Temp: 79-81
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 5-15 depending on the day
pH: 8-8.1
Sal: 1.0235-1.025 refractometer
KH: 10-11
Ca: 400-420
Phosphates: sometimes .25 today 0

My large banded goby has been a little sluggish for about 10 days. He sifts less and eats, but less. When I bought him he was about 4 inches long. He still is fat, but I see two pieces of his rear fin that look nipped at. I also see what looks like peeling skin on his head. No other signs. Although he does sit under a rock more than he used to. The LFS said he might have been 2 years old when I bought him.

"So far" his tank mates seem fine.
3 green/blue chromis
1 yellow chromis
2 ocellaris clowns
1 red flame angel

1 GSP
1 Hammer

I have read some stuff online that say he may be suffering from fish old age. Hopefully nothing worse. Any thoughts? He does eat, he does swim, he does sift somewhat.
