Hi All.
My tank has been up and running since July 26.
The original LR I put in was that synthetic purple stuff you get at the LFS that comes from CA I believe.
I never saw this stuff before.
In some crevices I see clear/white jelly like things that resemble tubes. Sometimes they look crystalline. Like stalagtites or stalagmites in caves.
I can't get a picture and I can't find anything resembling on the internet. I saw something about bubble algae (not it) and syconoid sponges (not it).
Everything has been status quo except for my banded goby who has been not himself lately and looks sick. His skin is peeling a little and he has a wound on his head. He was definitely being bullied by the yellow chromis, which is why I got rid of him.
Any idea on this jelly?
My setup:
92 gallon corner bow front.
25 gallon sump.
UV, skimmer.
Water is good.
Temp: 79-81

Nitrites: 0

pH: 8-8.1
Sal: 1.0235-1.025 refractometer
KH: 10-11

Phosphates: sometimes .25 today 0
3 green/blue chromis
1 yellow chromis (GONE as of today, tank bully)
