I have a 120l tank with around 15kg of live rock and 20kg of sand. I only house 7 fish inc. Damsels, tomato clown and flame hawk fish plus CUC. The only filtration I have is a Fluval 306 external canister. The tank has been set up for 14 months and has done... Okay. I just have a constant battle with hair algae on my live rocks. I replace 20l of water every 10-14 days.
My phosphate levels are a little high (between 1.0 - 2.0) so I added a bag of PO4 remover to my filter canister, this hasn't really helped.
Can anyone help me try and achieve a algae free tank?
