percula clowns?

I just got 2 baby percula clowns yesterday and got a few questions. the tank is a 55 gallon and it has 2 1200gph powerheads on each end pointing towards each other is this too much for them? cause it seems like they were having a hard time swimming in them so I turned them off today. second thing is when I put them in yesterday then went and stayed towards the sand in a corner and today I woke up to them right on the top of the water.. and last thing I know since my tank is only 2 months old that its too soon to get an anemone so is there something else I should get for them hide in? theres 60lbs of live rock but they don't seem to be going anywhere near it..
