Marco's rock vs Reefcleaners- first hand review

Hi everyone,



Today I received 100 pounds of dry rock, consisting of 50lbs Marco's dry rock and 50 lbs of Reefcleaners dry rock. In this thread, I will be reviewing and comparing them in as many aspects as I can think of, including price (For volume), quality, shipping, cleanliness, beauty, etc.



This will be a picture heavy thread, so brace yourselves. I hope to help other reefers come to a conclusion between these two brands of dry rock.



Shipping:


After ordering the 50lbs of Marcos and 50 lbs of ReefCleaners on Friday at about 6:00 PM, both arrived tuesday a few hours apart. Both brands supplied free shipping.



Shipping score: TIE



Price and Volume:
For the 50 lbs I purchased, ReefCleaners rock was $95 while Marcos rock was $110. However, Marcos rock is significantly lighter and more porous, so for the same amount of volume required, Marco Rock is cheaper.
