upgrading to larger tank

hi, i have a 30 gallon fowler with one clownfish some snails, and a few crabs. Tank has been up and running for 2yrs. I want to upgrade to a 50gallon tank, and i am wondering what has to be done as far as transferring everything to the larger tank. Such as do i have to cycle the larger tank? Or can I just transfer everything to the larger tank and add more water? Thanks
