Hello guys! Im new to this forum. I used to own a 30 gallon saltwater tank that was bottom of the line crap. That was 5 years ago. I went through the process of creating and balancing my new uncured rocks and i loved the hobby. My lightning system was crap, i didnt have a skimmer and i had to battle through several bad experiences but i am still highly motivated by the hobby. I had to get rid of my system because i was moving far up in the canadian arctic where there is no reef store to buy anything and where it was impossible to bring the tank. I am now back down south and i am buying a used 90 gallons reef tank up and running with top of the line lights( 2 max spec 120 w each) a 50 gallons sump, a very good skimmer(octopus 3000) a dosing pump 3 way. The tank has been running for 3 years and is full of corals and fish and90 lbs live rocks...the main reason why i am joining this community is because although im buying a very good setup, i am still a noob reefer and will definetly be spending time here to share my concerns/findings and pick your brains. I must admit i feel intimidated with the challenge but i am up for it. :fish: i will post my plan for the big move and will need to know if you guys think im in the right direction! Not sure if thats the place to post my plan but..can anyone guide me? Btw i have been secretly reading all the posts for a long time but just decided to join As a member since i will be back in business with a reef tank soon!
