I'm a novice to keeping a marine aquariums and new to this forum.
I recently purchased a matured marine aquarium with all items of equipment and fish; the aquarium also consists of a sump with a built in refugium.
The condition of the rock appears to be covered by slime / debris and would appreciate some advice on how to clean the rock.
Also within the tank is a mandarin fish and due to the transportation (3 hours) of the aquarium and sump (only emptied of the water), would the copepods be affected by the transportation.
Considering the aquarium has just been transported to my house (02/12/14), and now assembled, what would be the sequence of activities that should be performed to ensure a successful assembly of the reef tank.
I look forward to receiving all your advice
Thanks
Delmie
