Thinking of getting back into the hobby

I had reef tanks for years when I was younger and I quit cold turkey. I have found myself getting the itch again but truth be told I have forgotten so much I feel like a newb again :D Any way I was thinking of getting a Coralife 14 Gallon BioCube Aquarium with a Stand. I did a little research and it looks like I remember. Compact Flo lights, I didn't see a skimmer on it but if I remember smaller tanks do fine with regular water changes, LED's are new and look promising, wet dry filtration etc. Tall and small of it I was wanting some advise before I leap. Do ya'll have any opinions about the BioCubes? Is there a better nano-option? Are PC's still the way to go. I used to love to see the "light ripples" on the softies but I can't remember what light created them. I'm not looking to have any sps though not having a clam will kill me inside they were stunning. Anyway thank you very much for taking time to help a middle aged ex-reefer to put his toes back in the water
