I just setup a brand new tank. I spray painted the outside of the back glass and outside of the bottom. The paint is Dupli-Color Aqua Lackspray. It is a water based paint.
The tank was upside down when I was painting it BUT the spray / fumes still managed to get inside. I only realized this when I was cleaning the inside glass and the rag picked up the color.
I have scrubbed the inside with vinegar, and rinsed with water. The rag looks clean now when I buff the glass. Is there more I can do to make sure there is no more paint residue on the inside glass? The paint is water based and cleans off easily with vinegar and water.
