I have a 72g reef that's been up and running for 4 years. I've recently found this odd velvet-like red sponge that started very small but has spread all over a number of my rock formations. I've scoured the forums trying to ID this "pest" but it seems to be frequently misclassified as cyano. It has caused some of my zoa's to close up and die, so I need to do something. If anyone has seen this or has any idea on possible remedies/causes, please let me know I'm lost!
