Non bought snail?

Recently I noticed a shell I haven't noticed before, since I have a lot of hermit crabs I didn't think of much but then I noticed he started climbing the tank glass, which the hermit crabs can't, he has an orange she'll, about 5-7 points on it. Can someone please help tell me if he's a threat, how he got there, and if I should get rid of him
