I do not run activated carbon in my tank due to HLLE concerns.
Now, I have lately been thinking about the fact that my Ro/Di system uses carbon blocks as part of the process and am wondering if the carbon in that would affect the tank in the same way putting the carbon directly in the tank would. In the RO/DI system I use the water passes through the carbon blocks and after going through the carbon it gets distilled through the dual Di stage. Do I need to be worrying about the carbon from this RO/DI system? Any thoughts?
