I got a new tank and I have never had a sump before the tank is acrylic and pre-drilled. I don't know the exact bulksize or size of the holes (I bought it on craigslist) on friday i'm going to drill the stand to fit the two holes(return,drain). Reading online and on forums I need about 1350gph right? Do you think I need 2" pvc drain and return to achieve(my sump will not have a fuge, haven't decided on a protein skimmer or heater yet nor powerheads or lights) this what type of return pump? I'm so new so any suggestions please on equipment would be great thanks!
