Start cycle with seafood ?

Went to local market to get some raw table shrimp. I've heard it's the best way to start a cycle for a reef tank.
The market only had farm raised shrimp/prawns.
Is farm raised shrimp ok?
Could us newbies use any raw seafood?
How about squid, lobster tail, fish or oysters?
