T5 lighting question - 4 vs 6 bulbs?

I think i've settled on T-5's for my 90. The small LED's ( $200 for 2 off eBay - yes chinese ) are great but don't know how to actually mount them as I can't hang. The better LED's in standard fixture are too pricey ( Orbit Marine Pro is $485 )

So T5's we go. The question is, I can buy a 6 light unit with 3 x 12k's, 3 actinic and 10 moonlights for roughly 225. Are 6 lamps too much?

Tank is semi reef but looking for options to keep all corals down the road.
