Hi y'all,
In the last 2 weeks I've lost a chalice and a monti digitata, and now my scroll coral is looking dicey. All LPS and soft doing well, also happy fishies.
The only thing I have changed is that I started running GFO, as I am getting a small amount of algea on the return lines and the rocks right under the light.
Speaking of light, I'm running razors, the lighting schedule and intensity has not been changed for over 6months.
Params are 8-430 , undetectable nitrates and phosphates. Granted, these are API tests so I know these results are not spot on, but I'm a "close enough" type person.
Could it be the GFO? Perhaps some escaped into the tank when I first put the reactor on line, as I had the flow adjusted too high.
Ideas?
Thanks as always,
Helen
