I'm not into a lot of supplements, especially when it comes to feeding my buddies.
I feed white worms every other day; a lot of white worms. 150+. All fish devour them, as well as mushrooms, yellow poylps, serpent stars and yes, even aphasia. :(
I try to keep a clip with nori on it for the Tangs in the winter. Summertime, we pick fresh spinach as a substitute.
I make a blender mush with the usual suspects: shrimp, scallops, squid, clam strips, smelt, nori, garlic, marine pellets & algae tabs, and Reef Chili when I have it.
The fish and coral all get fed with this mush as it has a variety of particle size, although not large enough to satisfy an eel or anemones. I keep whole shrimp and clams for spot feeding of those larger feeders.
So am I missing the final ingredient to set this stuff off as a more perfect food by not adding Selcon?
Thoughts?
