Amonia spike after adding first fish

I have a 45 gallon with 55 lbs of fully cured live rock as well as a lot of live sand.





My tank finished its cycle a few days ago so I added some hermits and Sheila as well as one clown fish. This morning I woke up and tested the water and amonia had spiked to between .50-1!! My nitrites read 0 and nitrate level is low.



What's going on? I have to go to work now and am super caref I'll come back to a tank of dead stuff :(
