So.......I'm setting up a new 75 tank. with a 30 gallon sump. I'm slightly underwhelmed with the flow I'm getting from my pump. I wonder if I've over designed and overthought things a tad.
I have a Quiet One model 4000. It goes up to one of the SCWD wavemakers, which I'm really intrigued with. I'm only getting about 180 GPH flow. Should be in the 450ish range. Will I lose that much flow with the SCWD?
I'm also curious about the durso pipe. Mine has the hole on top, then 3 other holes spaced evenly around the top T, just below the waterline. One of them has an airline running in to it. (I bought this used). Curious about this setup
