Saltwater Novice!

Hello everybody! This is my first post on here, however I've been skimming forums for the last few weeks studying up on saltwater tanks. I'll start with my history in aquariums. I've kept everything from a fishbowl to a 15 gallon hexagonal tank and now have a 29 gallon freshwater only, totaling about 12 years of fish keeping, I have decided to get adventurous and would like to start a saltwater tank. I currently have an empty 29 gallon tank with the dimensions 30Lx12Wx18H I have a 30 gallon Fluval AquaClear filter (not sure the flow rate in GPH) A 12inch long Airstone with a 20-50 Gallon pump a heater that kept it at 77F when it was full of freshwater, and an LED light with a day and nighttime setting. I know i need to pick up a saltwater test kit a hydrometer and a few other odds and ends but me being a saltwater novice is there anything that jumps out at you that i would need? I would like to have live rock but this is my first saltwater tank so i think it would be better if i stayed away from a live reef, any opinions? I havnt done a ton of research on stocking the tank but i would like if at all possible some combination of clownfish, flame angelfish, firefish, and ornate wrasse and a starfish Please feel free to point out any of my ignorance as this is a learning experience for me and more than anything i want to have a safe tank and not harm any fish.
