I am setting my old 120G tank up in my local high school for the biology dept to use as an educational tool.
I used to just plug into a couple of power strips (surge protectors) but I am looking for a cleaner and more practical approach to running power.
I have seen the rack mount power distribution/conditioners from music stores used in some setups. But my question with those is do you just plug that into your standard outlet and then if so, you really limited to about 1 since you really only want to max out an outlet with 10 plugs.
So what do you guys have out there that streamlines the power requirements for your setups.
Here is my power requirement, don't have exact amp pull but I know I am less than 15A
2 ea full spectrum LED lights (4 plugs total)
2 RIO HF32 pumps
2 300w heaters (one is a backup)
2 powerheads
1 UV filter (for sump)
Thanks!
