Fragging Coral

I would like to frag one small frag off my toadstool leather mushroom coral. I do have a frag plug live aquaria sent me. I will place the frag on a frag plug in a small container in an area of no flow in the tank. I will wait for the frag to attach itself to the plug then I will place it in my tank. I have never in my 10 years in this hobby fragged my own coral. My lfs used to frag corals for 1$ and they did a great job. They have since stopped this service :( I do not have a fragging kit at home. I might get one in the future. But I have heavy duty scissors and stainless steel knives. What should I use to frag it. And what should I use to disinfect my tool?
