Not realy an issue with the unit but more an issue with placement and wast water.
I only have a 10 gallon tank so to make water I usually just refill 4 distilled water gallon jugs.
I had initially set it up with the sink adapater in the basement bathroom and let the waster water drain into the bathtub. This put to much pressue on the sink faucet and it leaked all over after a few uses. So no can do in there anymore. I really dont want to replumb for an under the sink either becasue of what I discovered in our utility room in the basement.
I found a garden hse connect attached to the water line so I cn use that to connect to. Its great casue its an unfinished part of the basement so a leak wont matter. My issue is waste water.. there is no drian and no drain pipe. Last night when I made water in there I put the waste water into my sump pit. There is no sump pump and it has always been dry. To complicate things a bit more there is a radon removal unit over the sump that sucks radon gas out from under th house so it doesnt enter. I can snake the waste water tube into the sump next to the pipe that ferries the radon out there and did so last night. I just want to ensure I am not flooding out m sump pit by putting the waste in there without a sump pump and 2 that it is not going to hurt the radon removal..
