is picture frame glass reef safe?

so as the title implies, i want to try using 8x10 glass frame glass pieces to act as dividers for the copepod growout tank that im implementing soon. there will be 4 stages all divided by 8x10 baffles that i have lying around. the purpose here being 4 times as likely to not cause a crash of whole culture, aswell as possibly ordering 4 different types of reef friendly copepods.

is there a possibility of something leaching into the water of copepod's tank that can negatively affect the main display? i wont be dumping all the water in only using filter floss balls to harvest them for about 30 minutes or so and then transfer the filter floss ball to DT, not alot of water but id rather be safe than sorry.
