I got one of these four days ago for my 75g tank. I drip acclimated it for about three hours and kept the tank dark after I added it.
It eats readily when I feed brine shrimp and zooms into hiding when I poke it. Overall, seems pretty healthy.
But for some reason, it just sits out in the open. There's all kinds of live rock to go hide in. I'm just wondering if this is normal. It's not exactly sifting sand. It just sits there and watches for food, which it will do a weird jump-hop-scuttle to get. That goby loves brine shrimp.
