Algae problem since tank startup

I have had my tank running for almost two years. I upgraded to a 120g tank a few months ago but used all the same LR and I put new sand in. Starting with my first tank and now this one, I have had an algae problem from the beginning. It is a carpet type green algae on the back walls, overflows, and on the rear side of the LR mostly.

From reading several threads on here and other forums, I know that algae is caused by excess phosphates. So I have cut down on feedings to every other day, and I have been running a GFO reactor. Almost all food is eaten within a few minutes and I do have a CUC of snails and hermits. Still the algae problem persists and doesn't seem to get any better.

My current setup is 120g DT, 40g sump, skimmer, GFO reactor and about 100 lbs LR. My livestock is: Yellow tang, 2 BG chromis, 2 clowns, 2 yellow tail damsels, six line wrasse, chalk bass. Also 1 torch coral, frogspawn, zoas, and xenia. All fish and corals seem to be doing well. I have two AI Hydra lights, two Jebao RW8 PHs, 1 Tunze PH. All controlled by an Apex.

All of my water parameters are in check. 0 ammonia, Nitrite 0, Phosphate 0, SG 35, temp 77, Ph 7.8-8.1. I do weekly water changes/ cleaning but sometimes its every two weeks.

I'm kind of at a loss as to what else to do do get rid of this algae. I was thinking of a larger CUC maybe? Please help....
