Just wondering if anybody has regrets about setting up their aquarium now that they're involved with it? I am not naïve as far as the amount of money and work that needs to go in it and the maintenance. I've had freshwater tanks I know it's not the same thing but I do understand what's all involved.. I am getting a little negativity from my spouse.
In a slight weak moment I started second-guessing my decision but that being said it's making me post this question..
He keeps reminding me of all the upkeep, all the testing, The water changes. it's not about the money but it's everything else involved with it. The thought of that doesn't scare me or bother me in the least. It makes it challenging and that is in its self part of the hobby isn't it??
It's not like I'm going to be blindsided with all this work ahead and once it's established and everything is running smoothly the maintenance is just every week to 10 days of water changes and testing every few days right??
Sorry if this seems like a strange question but it's like the little devil on my shoulder keeps whispering in my ear, Don't do it, don't do it, don't do it.. You get my point..
So all that being said,
Anybody got more than they bargained for? Anybody wish they never started it but they're going with it anyway? Any regrets?
