frag tank question

I work at a public aquarium. I have recently set up a small 30 gallon frag tank at my desk. I designed the tank to be low maintenance. It is bare bottom, skimmerless, and has a couple of eggcrate racks which i put on stands (i used plastic uplift tubes from undergravel filters as stands) I also siliconed 2 racks onto the back glass. For flow, I have a mj 1200 on the left side, and a vortech mp10 on the right. I have great circulation in the tank. It stays at about 79F, salinity 1.025-1.026, p.H is usually 8.1-8.2. undetectable nitrates/ammonia (theres only a firegoby/hermit crab in there). I have a dimmable 165w blue/white led fixture above the tank, 10 inches above the tank. I have been running 100% blue, 60% white. Most of the coral is roughly 5 in below the surface on the racks. I have frogspawns, hammers, candy canes, acros, pocillopora, birdsnest, GSP glued on the left glass pane, palythoas and some others. Most everything is doing well and some of the sps is starting to grow over their frag plugs. My concern is that a few of the pieces dont look so good. The candy cane is alive but I can see the skeleton through the tissue, and some of the stylophora is faded/lousy polyp extension. I have since turned down the whites a bit to 45%. I do not dose anything in the tank, I am a big believer in regular water changes and have been doing 9 gallons a week( regular i.o salt). Does everything sound good? suggestions?
