whats up all....so on my 29 gallon mixed reef i decided to try out the cpr aquafuge 2. i do not have any experience with HOB refugiums. basically my question is this: When i turned off the power after i ran it for the first time for about 15 minutes the aquafuge 2 drained back into the tank until its water level was even with that of the main display tank. I contacked Bulk Reef Supply and asked if it could overflow my main tank or will it always drain back until both water levels even out and they ( BRS ) said that it would only drain until both its water level and my main display tanks water level were even because of the tanks gravity ...ok that made sense...hoever....the next time i ran the refugium i again let it run for about 15 minutes and then i pulled the plug to see where the water level would drop to and it only put a small amount of its water back into the main display leaving the water level in the refugium higher than that of the main display......Does anyone know whats goin on or have any experience with the Aquafuge 2? Can and will this overflow my main display tank?
thanks guys!
