Very new tank owners here, learning a lot very quickly...
We introduced a new Blue Starfish yesterday, a lovely specimen having had plenty of time to settle at the aquatics shop. We introduced him over a few hours and he made good movement but attracted the attention of a crab within about 10 minutes.
We're aware this crab came in on some live rock (initially very exciting) but as crabs might be, he's been very secretive. However, he came out very quickly and looked as though he was pecking at the starfishes feet. With him being an unknown species, we're worried he might be aggressive. Picture to follow in the next post, but is this expected?
