I need help!?!?

Hey guys let me start with the story, I was sold a mandarin without researching and not being told what they need, so I bought a bottle of pods and I was set, well I have since read up and have a 40 gallon with a 55 gallon sump set up specifically for breeding pods, it's cycled and has a set of clowns in it ready for the mandarin, well I drive a truck and I am gone for 5 days a week. My girlfriend found her dream fish of a clown trigger and bought it, and plopped it right in the tank with the mandarin. He's a baby so the small tank is good for him till he's big enough to hold his own in the 150 gallon.



Here's my problem, I have bought probably 400 dollars in pods to keep the mandarin healthy till I could get the 40 gallon up and going for the mandarin, it's ready, but the clown trigger is showing signs of Ich, I have 6 small turbo snails in this tank, the mandarin thus far is showing no signs of ich, and from what Ive read probably won't, I need to treat the clown trigger for the ich, but I can't because of the snails and the mandarin from what I've read won't do well with copper, I'm at a loss as to how to get the mandarin and snails to the 40 gallon without exposing the clown fish to ich, any suggestions, I'm at a loss....
