Fresh coffee is ready for you all. Was gonna do omelets , but somebody already used up all the eggs for something. :cool:
Going tear apart the front gang of a 14' disc harrow this morning for a friend. He's gonna help.
21" discs..there's a bad bearing in one of the three housings...and the shaft is worn. Bet that shaft will be $150 to replace...and if my buddy chooses, he'll probably buy new discs as well. Gonna be 'pensive.
I've got impact wrench, heat, and 3/4 drive sockets. The nut that holds the shaft has been loosened by the local tire repair shop with 200psi impact tools for big truck tires. Got a tractor with loader to move the gang around.
