Drilling a 300 deep dimension

So can anyone confirm this before I throw away 1800 bucks....



I just talked to marineland and they told me that there is no tempered glass in a 300 deep dimension?? Not even the bottom which I found strange??



Has anyone had any experience with one of these with drilling the bottom??



I know it voids my warranty but so does putting it on a diy stand so that's already shot regardless haha
