I have 2 ocellaris 1 frostbite and 1 black snowflake the frost bite is bigger than the black snowflake I purchased them from my lfs 4 days ago and introduced them to the tank at the same time. since then they have swam, ate and slept together everyday, I added a claypot for them yesterday. today I noticed the bigger fish was nipping at my smaller one and he didn?t and doesn?t really mind it he keeps his distance but not to far away they both hosted the claypot but today the bigger clown doesn?t let him in so I turned on the moonlight and he immediately swam into the clay pot she still nips at him but he doesnt nip her back or do the twitch he just moves away and continues to stay close to her. During the day he would stay above the claypot and try and get close to her but now he?s just outside the claypot with half his body in facing out.
I was wondering what does it mean if he doesn?t twitch but doesn?t nip her back he just moves and goes back to trying to be close to her.
He is not allowed inside the claypot but he doesn?t give up on trying.
When she comes out of the tank he stays right next to her and tries to do a dance in front of her
Now remember they have only been together for 4 days and they are the only fish in the tank with some dry rock at first they were inseparable and today she nips at him but he doesnt care and continues to stay close to her
