I have been confused about this for a while now, but this is even more pertinent now that I am starting to get into coral:
How close can you place corals to one another? Everyone says to give space between corals because of sweeper tentacles. However, there is a grow out period, and they have to get close eventually correct?
On that note, how do Euphyllia gardens work? People have these giant frogspawn, torch, and hammer groups all together. Do their stings not effect one another? If not, Id love to start my own- major love for Euphyllia.
As a side note- what is the difficulty level of favia coral and candy cane coral? Many have said they are easy, just the main issue being the sweeper tentacles. Which is thus related to the original question.
Everyone warns about putting coral too close and about the sweeper tentacles, but I have not seen it occurring in display tanks?
Thank you!
