Epic $$$$ Failure

I might be the only one who hates doing a tank build. So many unknowns and so much work to get it just right. This being my second build I was going to make sure everything fit right and ran perfect. This 175 tank is my dream tank!

So to make this story short, I purchased a used 55 gallon for my sump, it fits perfectly underneath. Then I found a Octopus 202-S skimmer on sale, its a beast. So I put the skimmer in the sump and put it under the tank. I look at it and some wasn't right. Oh no, I can't pull the skimmer cup out of the sump from the front of the tank:mad:. Messing with it some more I figure out the only way to get the skimmer cup out is to turn it sideways and pull it out from the side. The tank stand drops down on the front which I didn't account for with my measurements:eek:. Not sure what to do now....I can't cut the wood on the stand to make it fits because it will mess with the strength of the stand. I think I have to ditch the 55 gallon sump for something else......:help:

Though I would share with reefers the many unknowns that you don't think about or notice....
