Hey got this bubble magus nac 6 skimmer and the long tubing that goes up from the pump to the skimmer top broke near the top so it's not touching the hood.

Basically what mine looks like. See that white flimsy looking tube to the right? That's the one that broke off right before it connects. What does this do and should I fix it?
