This is my first saltwater tank and I decided to go with a 60 gallon for less hassle then my original idea of going with 20 gallon.
I purchased this 60 gallon already with livestock and cycled for at least 6 months.. So it is a well established tank for most part.
Has a sump, but no protein skimmer. The fish count is very low so I was told wasnt necessary.
Today I did my first test on the water and ammonia, nitrate and ph levels seem to be very stable. Ph looks to be at 8.0
I will double check once I clean my Hanna Ph meter to confirm this.
The fish are doing great, my only concern is the coral, they 2 of em appear to be stressing from the move from the store to my home.
I did upgrade lighting from metal halide to hydra 26. So I am wondering if any stress could be from the light itself.
