Hi guys! Haven't been on in a while, but I noticed last week that my starfish is having an issue. This little guy is smaller than a quarter and he appeared in my one tank a few months ago. I have not added anything new to this tank in over a year, so I am assuming it hitched in and somehow survived curing and no acclimation and just has been hiding in there the past year out of sight.
Anyways.. So I noticed that it was getting gray spots on its top, and I just assumed it was dying. Well today I notice that those "spots" are actually moving!! They are so small that I can't tell what they are, but it looks like a slug or snail without a shell. I can see teeny tiny antennas and it looks like they are sliding around on it. I can't find anything online about it, except that typically they get bi-valve or snail parasites but these just don't look like the pictures of those parasites to me.
I will upload a picture, my phone died so I am waiting on it to charge up enough to turn it on and get a picture. Anyone know anything about this?
