Padding under filtration elements?

Hi Im still working on my 220 gallon tank set up. In order to muffle the sounds of the filtration i was thinking of putting some sort of padding underneath the sumps... As in between the big rubbermaids im using as sumps and my ceramic tile floors. Any suggestions on what would be a good idea to use? Thanks!
