Good morning. I am a newish member on the site but have been lurking for a few years now. I picked up a 75 gallon tank about 2.5 years ago and it is set up with a 29 gallon sump, curve 5 skimmer, mag 9.5 return, BRS media reactor (currently GFO) and the noisiest overflow I can imagine (more to come on this).

The tank currently has 2 clowns, 1 watchman goby, 1 coral beauty, 1 flame angel, 1 lawnmower blenny, 2 emerald crabs and a scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp. I have put assorted snails and hermits in but not in a little over a year and I haven't seen one in a while so it is about time to get another batch.

I would like to add corals and a few more fish but need to either drain the tank and put in a new overflow box or upgrade to a larger tank. The tank currently has holes drilled in the back glass for 1" bulkheads at both ends of the tank and I would like them to be connected for a herbie setup. However, in looking at costs and future plans I have decided to keep my eye out for a 120-220 gallon tank (5' or 6') and use the 75 as either a sump or as an upgrade for a freshwater turtle tank I have.

I have learned a lot on this site and if my upgrade goes as planned I have a lot of learning ahead of me.
