New Halide Bulb and Green Slime Algae

HI, New to the forum here. I have a green slime algae outbreak and hopefully someone more experienced may know what went wrong in my 35G biocube.

The tank were growing purple algae in the right direction before we went out for a two week vacation. Two things went wrong while we were out of town: 1. The 70W halide bulb went out. 2. The auto food dispenser lost control and over fed terribly. After I went back the tank gradually lost its purple color. I bought a 14000K halide bulb appeared exactly the same as the old bulb, only from a cheaper vendor in eBay for $14. After the new bulb installed, the tank gradually turned green and some green algae and green slime algae taking over. I tried to feed less but won't stop the trend.

I used to have some red slime algae issue but only in the refugium. I am suspecting the bulb may not be geniune and may not shedding the right spectrum. Can you help with some suggestion how to fix it? Much thanks.

Stock: one blue tang 3 & 1/2 inch, two clownfish and one cleaner shrimp.
