Need help ID-ing a coral

Or at least I hope it's a coral and not something bad. If you zoom in on the picture, it's the little purple/brown flower looking items along the base of the rasta frag rock. The rasta has been in there a few months and growing out from the rock but just noticed these things a few days ago.
