Hello. Having some trouble with my tank. It's 75 gallon, has 2 frogspwans, a duncan and 3 zoanthids. With a clown, and 2 damsels. Not much I know, but things haven't been able to stay alive super long.....
Recently, I did a water change and white stringy phlegmy stuff appeared everywhere when I poured the water in. And then when it settled it turned Brown. The frogspawns closes up and have barely opened since and their skeletons are showing, i don't know if they will make it.
This was about a month ago. Had a sea urchin and it was spewing stringy stuff out so thought it was that and got it out, but it a still happening. I will scrub the glass down real good before changing the water and when I put new water in, the stuff appears again. Not as bad as the first time but definitely still present.
And now there is almost a cobwebs/caterpillar web if you will, type substance covering all the rocks and everyting. I will post some pics.
Had a double filter and a single filter hanging over, got rid of the single and just put a reed octopus hang on back protein skimmer.
