Aquaponics

Has anyone ventured in to aquaponics? I'm planning to build a decent size backyard greenhouse (16ftx16ft) this spring and considering giving aquaponics a try to raise fish that I can eat to supplement my other food sources that we're working on (I started raising meat chickens this past year, going to start raising hogs with a co-worker this year to put pork in the freezer, have always been an avid hunter so have lots of venison, and married in to a dairy farming family that will provide beef to the freezer, so the only meat we're missing is fish, so I thought the greenhouse/aquaponics might be the missing link to have fresh/home raised food source that I don't have to go to the store for meat, and the greenhouse is for the wife to supply fresh veggies year-round).

I'm starting to do some reading on aquaponics and just curious if anyone else on here has tried it and wants to share their experiences with me while I start planning mine out...
