Removing Frags from frag plugs?

I picked up 6 frags last night from a gentlemen who had them attached to some pretty large plugs and broken rock. Would it be harmful for me to break these young frags off of their bases so I can just add them straight to my live rock? They just look very awkward in my tank right now, and very difficult to place.

If this is possible, what glue would you recommend?
