Preparing to add LPS...

Ive been doing good with shrooms, GSP, zoas and Kenya tree but want to go the next step in corals. Just got my (2) Chinese 165w full spectrum LED to cover my 45g. Tommorrow I'm going to build the mounting arm/brackets for them so they will set 12" off water, soooo lighting department is covered for LPS/SPS. The question is what are the basics I need start keeping LPS.....and SPS maybe.



Tank is 8 months old, bare bottom and 12" deep and all my readings are stable.



I use ReefCrystals at 1.024-1.025

Temp at 79 degrees

Mag 1350

Ca 380-420

alk 11 or 12 ( if remember correctly... need new alk test)

pH 7.8... but steady always

Nitrates <5ppm
