hey guys, as title says please i need help and new to this forum. I am noob to saltwater but did all my homework :):). Its been 4 days since my saltwater tank is running. I put live sand, 25lbs of live rock (from my local fish store, with hitch hikers already mostly snails in the rock), custom filtration, heater (78 deg.), and circulation pump. Also I put R/O water and 1 nutri sea water, 1.025 salinity. My question is, I tested my water and this is the result: PH- 8.3, KH- 161.1, Ammonia, nitrite,and nitrate are 0. Is this normal because i thought it would take more time for ammonia and nitrite to be 0. Please help. Thanks!
